About the Organization
Okaloosa Youth Academy is a non‑secure, certified juvenile justice residential facility for males located in Crestview, FL. The mission of the Academy is to increase public safety by reducing juvenile delinquency in Florida through effective prevention, intervention and treatment services that strengthen families and help troubled youth turn their lives around.
Responsibilities- Act as an active part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role‑modeling to adolescent boys aged 13 through 18.
- Lead therapeutic groups with patients and intervene effectively in crisis situations.
- Support patients in developing competencies valued by the community through therapeutic and educational programming in a secure, structured environment.
- Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous related working experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass a DOJ background screen and pre‑employment drug screen.
