• Provide SMART customer service at all times according to Lowe's policies.
• Seek out customers, understand needs, and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Listen to and respond knowledgeably to customer and employee questions, walking them through projects when necessary.
• Demonstrate sincere appreciation to customers.
• Communicate information about stock, special order merchandise, features, applications, and warranties.
• Contact customers regarding delivery and coordinate with truck driver to call them.
• Plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and deliver merchandise on schedule to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Pull merchandise, build and band delivery loads, and load trucks within payload according to delivery order.
• Inspect condition of products before loading and assist customers with loading.
• Match items on invoice with quantities loaded by verifying descriptions, items, and model numbers.
• Ensure loads are safe, secure, and within DOT regulations.
• Update delivery and route status on system (e.g., iPhone) for tracking.
• Unload, install, and test appliances upon delivery.
• Verify daily vehicle inspections and reports, ensuring maintenance and repairs for delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Complete DOT reporting to maintain DOT certification and CDL compliance.
• Detect and report security risks such as shoplifting or theft to management and Asset Protection.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and store organization.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties.
• Operate store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, fax machine, CCTV).
• Support additional duties as assigned.

• Class A CDL license (required for multi‑unit CMV). For single‑unit CMV, Class A or B license with air‑break endorsement.
• Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
• Pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements.
• Obtain sales‑related licensure or registration as required by law.
• Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Comply with DOT and CDL regulations.

• 1 year experience driving a semi‑truck/trailer or certification from a driving school.
• 6 months experience in‑home delivery or retail customer service.
• 3 months experience operating a forklift or loading/unloading a vehicle.
