Paramedic​/Firefighter

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue, and Fire Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic/Firefighter for our Crete contract. The primary responsibility of the Paramedic/Firefighter is to provide medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic (EMT-P) level, within their scope of practice as defined by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the EMS Commission of Illinois.

• Paramedic License
• Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age or older
• Valid Illinois Driver's License
• ACLS (training provided by Metro)
• PALS (training provided by Metro)
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
