Plum Creek Animal Medical Center is a well-established, progressive, fast-paced 3 doctor small animal practice. We are proud to be a 25-year AAHA-Certified hospital. Plum Creek offers Wellness and Preventive Care, Illness, Problem and Urgent Care, Surgery, Dentistry, Therapeutic Laser Therapy, In-House Diagnostics, Digital full body and dental radiology, Ultrasonography, Acupuncture, Medical and/or Vacation Boarding and more. Our charming red barn setting provides work-life balance while being close to Chicago.
We highly value flexibility in scheduling and offer a limited-service outpatient clinic with shared records and clients between locations. The Partner Track program offers ownership opportunities and flexibility to invest in your medical interests.
Responsibilities- Full-time veterinarian
- Proficient in general medicine and surgery
- Compassionate, team player and strong communicator
- Experience preferred but new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply
- Doctor of Veterinary Degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
- Active Veterinary State License
- USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire

- Ability to sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods
- Ability to work with animals (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc.) as needed
- May require more than 40 hours per week, including weekends, evenings and/or holidays
- Must have English language proficiency and basic reasoning, memory, mathematics and communication skills
- Moderate noise level; ear plugs available on request
- Ambulatory capability to perform duties; ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Exposure to animals and potential hazards; background check may be required
Salary Range can vary from $100,000 to $140,000. Determining factor is solely based on experience, qualifications, schedule, compensation structure, and is subject to change per applicable candidate.
Hiring eligibility may be contingent to a candidate authorizing and completing a satisfactory background check.
