Title: Office Assistant

St. James School, a Catholic elementary school in Crete, is looking for Doane students to assist their staff and faculty. All positions are located es School, 525 E 14th Street.

• Students who fluently speak both Spanish and English to help with children who are English Language Learners.
  Schedule: Flexible between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm.
• Students who would like to work one-on-one or in small groups with children in need of extra help in reading or math.
  Schedule: Flexible between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm.
• Theatre majors, or others interested in acting, to lead a small group of 5th and 6th-grade students in an after‑school theatrical club.
  Schedule: Preferred Wednesdays 3:15 pm–4:15 pm, but flexible.

• Patience, compassion, and a fun attitude.
• No teaching experience required.
• These positions will be in direct contact with students and require completion of a background check and a one‑hour Safe Environment Training course.

Flexible hours.

$14.00 per hour.

• Must be a current Doane University student.
• Must qualify for Federal Work‑Study.
• Must complete a background check and one‑hour Safe Environment Training course.
