Assistant Director, Dining Services II – Doane University

Location: Crete, NE

Salary: $63,000–$65,000

Reports to: Director Dining Services

A dynamic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of residential dining services, ensuring a welcoming dining environment for students, faculty, and staff while partnering with culinary, marketing and finance teams to improve participation and satisfaction at Doane University.

• Work with the Chef and management team creating nutritious, high‑quality food items.
• Implement new culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary crews.
• Maintain positive relationships with the client.
• Manage, train and develop associates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• 1 to 3 years of food‑service supervisory experience or a lead position.
• Experience in campus/university food‑service operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial experience and business acumen.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
• Associate’s degree preferred.

Full‑time role with a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
