Job Summary
Fresh Ideas is hiring an energetic and growth‑minded Assistant Director of Dining Services on the beautiful campus of DOANE UNIVERSITY. In this leadership position you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and nourishing environment for students, faculty, and staff. You will support all aspects of residential food service operations while elevating the campus dining experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the Chef and management team to create nutritious and top‑quality food.
- Implement new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the client.
- Manage, train, and develop associates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of food service supervisory or lead experience.
- Experience in campus/university food service operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Financial experience and business acumen.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products.
- Associate’s degree is preferred.
Full‑time role:
Flexible schedule required, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as business dictates.
