Position: Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) - Crete, NE 68333

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organizational and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS
  • Your starting pay will be $13.50–$15.50 depending on your skills and experience.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

You will perform service work in the Hallmark departments of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The position consists of three major components:

  • Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within the store and the Hallmark department. You will use technology to communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising activities. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.
  • Holiday support: Years are driven by seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) you may work additional days and extended hours, including weekends and the holiday itself.
  • Department resets: You may join a team responsible for installing fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Notification typically occurs two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, you will support other team members as needed in their territories.
  • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    The role is physically demanding, requiring high energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will also kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day, and may climb stairs or step ladders.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • You are at least 18 years old.
    • You can read, write, and understand English.
    • You can grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
    • You can operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents.
    • You have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
    • You have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
