Position Details- Full-time position
- Monday-Friday
- 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Hourly pay with bonus opportunities
- In-office position
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answer client billing questions professionally and courteously.
- Report directly to the Director of Administration on billing-related matters.
- Contact clients regarding outstanding balances and trust account replenishments as directed by the Director of Administration or attorneys.
- Promptly respond to client phone calls and emails regarding invoices and billing questions.
- Ensure the accuracy of payments, deposits, and billing transactions.
- Record client expenses within the firm's billing software.
- Assist with preparing invoices, applying payments, processing credit card payments, recording client payments, and sending invoices via mail and email.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, mailings, calendaring, and telephone communications.
- Maintain confidentiality while providing exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- College degree preferred.
- Prior billing, accounting, bookkeeping, banking, or payment processing experience preferred.
- Experience handling cash, payments, or financial transactions.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Typing speed of approximately 45 WPM or higher.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and exceptional customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
