Senior Manager – Strategic Consulting (Americas)

We currently have a Senior Manager open in the strategic consulting practice to support the Americas region. This role directly supports client transformation initiatives by aligning workplace strategy with organizational goals. It reports to the Americas Lead of Strategic Consulting.

Responsibilities
  • Manage projects and key client relationships and work with senior leaders with expertise in workplace strategy and change management.
  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with our most important clients and prospects, generate new business opportunities in partnership with other C&W leaders, and contribute to the delivery of high‑impact solutions with a sales objective of $600,000/year.
  • Present professionally, facilitate engagements, analyze, write and communicate effectively, and provide direct industry experience.
  • Offer exposure to high‑profile clients and opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the Strategic Consulting team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in a similar or complementary role, including key project experience in workplace/real estate strategy decision‑making.
  • Experience leading high‑performing teams, partnering with sophisticated client teams, and navigating relationships with external partners.
  • High emotional intelligence and exceptional leadership, problem‑solving, risk mitigation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong written, oral, analytical, graphic presentation, interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to analyze and compile data, produce strategy documents and error‑free client reports, and serve as a reviewer of work done by others.
  • Independent, self‑starter with exceptional time‑management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities and projects.
  • Professional in a team environment, professional even during adversity, and able to engage colleagues, clients, partners, and prospects positively.
  • Confidence in evaluating and experimenting with new tools and technologies (e.g., SharePoint, Copilot, Power BI, Miro, Aha Slides, Mentimeter).
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, Teams, Adobe PDF Writer, Outlook, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus.
  • Comfortable working across time zones, business lines, and offices.
  • Ability to travel up to 30 % of the time to client sites.
Education
  • Professional degree in Real Estate, Business, Architecture, Interior Design, Environmental Design, Communications, English, Psychology or related field.
  • Change‑management certification or designation desired;
    Prosci Certification a plus.
  • Additional experience and interests in organizational change management, organizational design, design, marketing, psychology, research considered favorably.
Location & Work Model

This role operates within a flexible hybrid work model, blending remote and on‑site collaboration as determined by Strategic Consulting leadership, C&W account leaders, and client needs. Travel may be required to facilitate effective teamwork and client engagement. When working remotely, active participation in virtual meetings with on‑camera presence is expected.

Compensation

The compensation for the position will range from $136,000 to $160,000 per year, depending on factors such as location, experience, and collective bargaining agreements. The company will not pay less than the minimum wage for this role.
