Overview
Find your calling at Mercy! Assists the Program Director and Assistant Program Director in coordinating the Residency Program including accreditation, recruitment, and daily operations. The Residency Coordinator must provide an atmosphere of professionalism, create a positive attitude to maintain a high morale among current residents and to encourage resident applicants. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

- Experience:
1 year administrative experience with Bachelor s degree or, alternatively, 5 years of administrative experience required. - Certification/Registration:
- Other skills & knowledge (skills, knowledge, abilities):
Must have background in medical terminology and aptitude in organizational and computer procedures. Must have excellent computer skills with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point. Must be able to work independently and be able to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment, with strict adherence to guidelines and considerable attention to detail. Must be able to interact with administration, private physicians, faculty and residents as well as pharmaceutical representatives.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including diplomacy. Must possess ability to plan, organize and direct the work of others.
