Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Qualifications- Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; consideration given for comparable education, experience, and licensure.
- Licensure: Obtain and maintain current LPN license in the hiring state; meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
- Experience: New or experienced LPN welcome.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion of course within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on position/unit: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., Six Assessment & Care Modules, other unit-specific certifications.
- Physical Requirements: Stand/walk most of the time; significant bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.

IV certification within 1 year of hire.
