What You’ll DoAs a Demand Planner, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the right stock levels to support our key UK clients, ensuring demand and supply align with business goals. You'll plan, forecast, collaborate, and respond—delivering real impact in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
- Manage and forecast demand using planning tools and channel data
- Recommend purchasing aligned with vendor lead times
- Participate in weekly stock reviews to optimise inventory
- Handle urgent stock requirements and fast‑turnaround orders
- Build strong relationships with Finance, Sales, and Operations teams
- Monitor and resolve order delays using purchase order reports
- Create insightful reports for senior management on planning KPIs and budget performance
- Suggest improvements to systems/tools for better planning and profitability
- Proactively manage inventory across our Distribution Centre to meet key metrics
- Prevent over‑ordering by aligning purchasing cycles with forecast cycles
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to mitigate stock risks
- Maintain tools and systems for accuracy—especially for new launches or discontinuations
- Share forecasts with stakeholders to support forward planning (Vendor CPFR)
- Follow all data protection and information security guidelines
- Experience in purchasing, inventory management, replenishment, or planning
- Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset
- Great communicator with a proactive, solution‑focused attitude
- Ability to manage deadlines and maintain attention to detail
- FMCG or fast‑paced supply chain experience (desirable)
- Understanding of the consumer tech or retail environment
- Confident working cross‑functionally with both internal teams and external partners
