Overview
Join as a Children’s Support Worker at Homes for Support Ltd, a reputable provider delivering high‑quality care under The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
RoleThis role is both challenging and hugely rewarding. You will support children through difficult moments, celebrate their successes, and help create the routines and experiences that shape their future.
Responsibilities- No two days are the same; you will support children and young people through difficult moments with patience, warmth, and consistency.
- Build trusting relationships that help them feel safe, valued, and listened to.
- Create positive experiences from shared meals to days out and everyday routines.
- Work as part of a committed team to deliver therapeutic, child‑centred care.
You don’t need experience in care to join us — just the right values and willingness to learn.
- Compassion, patience, and emotional resilience.
- A commitment to safeguarding children.
- The ability to be a positive role model.
- A warm, child‑centred approach.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep‑ins.
- Full driving licence.
- Obtain an enhanced DBS Certificate and consent to routine criminal background checks.
Right to work in the UK – sponsorship not available. All staff complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare if they do not already hold it; we provide full support.
Benefits & Rewards- £30,928.50 – £31,843.50 annual salary including sleep‑in payment.
