English Teacher – Crewe

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an English Teacher to join a dynamic Secondary School in the Wirral area. This role is due to start in January 2026 and can be on a part time basis. The school is seeking an enthusiastic and confident English Teacher to take over the class and deliver high-quality teaching in English Language and Literature.

Responsibilities of an English Teacher include:

* Planning and delivering engaging lessons in English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4 students

* Creating a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes learning

* Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress regularly

* Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies

* Adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students

To be considered for this English Teacher role, you must:

* Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE,

B.Ed., or BA Hons with QTS)

* Be eligible to work in the UK or be a UK resident

* Have prior experience working with children

* Have teaching experience in both English Language and English Literature

* Provide two professional references covering the last 2 years (ideally involving work with children)

* Hold an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one
