Salary: £190 - £220 per day (depending on experience and payroll choice)

We are recruiting a committed Core Subjects Teacher to work in a Progress School based in Crewe. This is a specialist provision supporting students who may have faced barriers to learning in SEND settings, often due to behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties. This is more than a teaching role - it's an opportunity to transform futures.
Ideal Candidate:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge at KS3 (and ideally KS4)
- Resilient, calm, and patient under pressure
- Able to deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual needs
- Experienced (or willing to work) with SEMH, ASC, or alternative provision environments
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Able to build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff
- Passionate about providing a nurturing, consistent, and structured environment for young people
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs and abilities
- Build positive relationships with students to re-engage them with education
- Manage challenging behaviour calmly and effectively using positive reinforcement strategies
- Monitor and record student progress, helping them to achieve personal and academic goals
- Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to ensure holistic support
