Salary: £28,997 – £43,748 (pro rata per annum)

Lecturer in ESOL

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and teach a range of ESOL courses
  • Train and assess learners in the College environment
  • Keep accurate records for learners’ progress in College
Key Person Specification Requirements
  • Degree (or equivalent) in relevant discipline
  • PGCE or commitment to work towards
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths
  • Proven experience of teaching ESOL
  • Knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment
  • Up‑to‑date occupational experience
  • Enhanced DBS check
