Lecturer in Public/Protective Services (EL316)
We are looking for an inspirational Lecturer to take on an exciting new role within our Public/Protective Services department.
Key Responsibilities- Lecturing on a range of Public/Protective Courses
- Train and assess learners in the workplace and College environment
- Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons in line with College policies
- Keep accurate records for learners’ progress in College and the workplace
- Degree in Public/Protective Services (or equivalent)
- Teacher trained at Level 5 (PGCE, DTLLS or Cert Ed) or working towards
- GCSE Grade C (4/5) or above in English and Maths
- Proven experience of teaching Public/Protective Services
- Knowledge and understanding of awarding body standards and requirements
- Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment
- Experience of working in further Education
- Up-to-date occupational experience
- Enhanced DBS Check
