Science Teacher / Crewe / September Start / Fixed-Term Contract

Academics is recruiting on behalf of a supportive secondary school towards the Crewe area of Cheshire East, which is looking to appoint a committed Science Teacher with a specialism in Chemistry on a full‑time, fixed‑term basis. The role will start in September and initially run until the end of term in December, with the potential for extension.

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Mainly teaching Chemistry up to KS4
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Engage, motivate and challenge students
• Maintain high expectations of behaviour and achievement

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in Science or Chemistry
• Recent experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 level
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A proactive, reliable, and professional approach
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
