Lecturer in Travel & Tourism (EL331)

Salary: £28,997 - £43,748 (pro rata per annum). Contract Type:
Permanent.

Hours:

29.6 per week.

Crewe Campus.

We are seeking a Lecturer in Travel and Tourism to join our team at our Crewe Campus. This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative and inspiring Lecturer to provide learners with an outstanding learning experience.

We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and from current industry practitioners who do not have a teaching qualification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach on a range of Travel and Tourism courses.
  • Undertake other duties including tutorial support and associated administrative tasks.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young persons.
  • Market and promote the provision to employers and stakeholders.
Key Person Specification Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience.
  • Teacher trained (PGCE, DTLLS or Cert Ed) or working towards.
  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) in English and Maths.
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment.
  • Up-to-date occupational experience.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
