The Education Specialists are delighted to be working together with The Learning Partnership Trust recruiting a Secondary English Teacher for a well regarded secondary school in Crewe, rated Good by Ofsted.

This is a full-time, long-term position, delivering lessons at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and a supportive senior leadership team, making it an excellent environment for a Secondary English Teacher looking for a consistent role in Crewe.

Secondary English Teacher role requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists
The successful Secondary English Teacher will
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
  • Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
  • Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
