Mechanical Engineer – Temporary

Pay Rate: £19.50 per hour (PAYE)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hours per week)

Contract Duration: 2 February 2026 – 31 May 2026

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support operations on a large, well-established industrial site in Crewe. This is a full-time temporary role offering stable hours and competitive pay.

• Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical plant and building services equipment
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with site procedures
• Complete relevant documentation and reports accurately
• Liaise with site management and other engineering disciplines as required

• Proven experience working as a Mechanical Engineer within facilities or industrial environments
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Good understanding of health & safety requirements
• Right to work in the UK

• £19.50 per hour PAYE
