Management Accountant

The Management Accountant will play a key role in the Accounting & Finance department within a small finance team, overseeing financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions. This permanent role, based in Crewe, offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic financial planning and operational efficiencies.

Description

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to manage financial operations effectively.
Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvement.
Support the implementation of financial systems and tools for enhanced reporting.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA - Essential
Have knowledge of working in a month end finance role - Essential
Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills - Essential
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
