Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Probation Services Officer to join the Probation Service in Crewe on an initial 3-month contract, with the strong possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of offenders, carrying out risk assessments and sentence planning.
- Deliver one-to-one and group interventions aimed at reducing reoffending.
- Liaise effectively with partner agencies, including police, courts, and social services.
- Prepare and present reports to courts and parole boards when required.
- Ensure accurate recording of all case management activity in line with national standards.
- Experience working as a Probation Services Officer within the Probation Service.
- Sound understanding of risk management and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills.
- Enhanced DBS and/or prison clearance is desirable.
- £22.00 per hour (umbrella)
- 3-month contract, with strong potential for extension
- Monday to Friday, full-time hours
