Job Description Medical Receptionist (Crewe)Maternity Cover - 16 hours per week, minimum 9 months
Summary
Join our dedicated team as a Medical Receptionist in Crewe, whereyou will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facility. This position is vital for maintaining an efficient and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Asthe first point of contact, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and supporting infection control protocols. Your contribution will be essential in enhancing patient experiences and supporting the overall functionality of our healthcare services.
Responsibilities- Greet and assist patients and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient check-in/check-out processes.
- Handle phone inquiries, directing calls to appropriatedepartments as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry,and document management.
- Support infection control measures by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the reception area.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Basic proficiency in Maths for handling administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of cleaning and infection control practices.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in afast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
