Job Title: Senior Care Assistant - Residential

Location: Richmond Village Willaston, 261 Crewe Road, CW5 6GX

Contract: Permanent, Day shifts available

Shift Pattern: 8:00-20:00

Weekend Requirement: on rota

• Assisting residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care. Recognising and meeting the specific needs of residents
• Answer emergency bells or calls from residents, assess situations, assist residents seeking help, and summon the senior care staff when necessary
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, washing, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene as documented in their care plan
• Support residents with mobility, including transferring using appropriate equipment and assisting with aids and personal equipment
• Support residents with a wide range of needs from companionship to personal care
• Be part of a team supporting the Senior Care Assistant in monitoring residents and reporting changes
• Communicate with residents’ families, friends and other healthcare professionals

Because we care for vulnerable people, a DBS check is required as part of the recruitment process. Bupa will cover the cost of this (£40).
