The role of a Technician within the Emergency Department can be demanding and challenging, but also extremely rewarding for the right individual.

You will be met with a wide scale of patient needs, from Minor injuries through to patients needing to be in the Resus department.

A band 3 Health Technician would be expected to work a
12.5 shift pattern including weekends and bank holiday, being flexible as required.

We can offer both full time and part time permanent posts.

You would be required to support the clinical team, providing a wide range of duties for the patient and their families and to assist in the efficient management of the department.

• Taking bloods and inserting cannulas.
• Insertion of catheters.
• Completing ECGs.

The successful candidate will be approachable, enthusiastic & conscientious and have good communication, a good sense of teamwork and be in good health.
