In this role, you will act as a vital bridge between business stakeholders and technical execution, taking end-to-end ownership of Power BI dashboard delivery while utilising hands-on Microsoft Fabric capabilities to support a scalable, modern data environment.

• Drive Microsoft Fabric Delivery: Apply practical hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric to integrate and manage data, support platform governance, manage access controls, and monitor/troubleshoot workloads.

• Build End-to-end Power BI Solutions: Design, develop, and optimise high-performing Power BI dashboards and reports using advanced DAX, Power Query, semantic modelling, and data visualisation best practices.

• Confidently Engage Stakeholders: Work directly with operational and leadership teams to gather requirements, challenge assumptions, translate business questions into technical BI solutions, and present actionable insights clearly.

• Data Management & Optimisation: Utilise strong SQL skills for data manipulation, querying, and validation while implementing robust ETL/ELT processes and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks across datasets.

• Champion Data Governance: Ensure high standards of data quality, data integrity, security, and BI platform best practices across all deliverables.

• Continuous Improvement: Maintain analytical capabilities and explore broader capabilities (such as Azure Data Services, Qlik, Cognos TM1, or AI-enabled forecasting where applicable).

  A proven track record of delivering end-to-end business intelligence solutions in complex environments.

• Microsoft Fabric Platform Expertise (Essential): Demonstrable hands‑on experience in the operation, management, or usage of Microsoft Fabric to deliver data solutions.

• Advanced Power BI & SQL
  
  Skills:
  
  Expertise in DAX, Power Query, semantic modelling, report performance tuning, and writing complex SQL queries for data validation.

• Strong Stakeholder & Communication

  Confident in leading requirement workshops, pushing back constructively, and explaining technical data concepts to non-technical audiences.
