Yard Supervisor FLT Counterbalance

Job Title: Yard Supervisor with FLT Counterbalance - Temp to Perm
Location: Crewe, Cheshire
Pay: £13.00 per hour (rising to £14.50 per hour when permanent)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Supervisor with FLT Counterbalance to join a busy builders merchants in Crewe. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity offering long-term stability, competitive pay, and the chance to join a supportive team environment.

This is a hands‑on role combining yard supervision, customer service, forklift operation, and internal administrative duties.

• Supervising day-to-day yard operations
• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Assisting customers with orders and collections
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard
• Completing internal paperwork and admin tasks
• Supporting stock control and goods‑in processes
• Working as part of a team to ensure smooth site operations

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
• Previous experience working in a builders merchants or similar environment (preferred)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Good customer service attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 17:00
• Every other Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00
