The Role:
Working in our Crewe depot and reporting into the team leader you will be responsible for providing maintenance of rail vehicles to the laid down procedures.
What You’ll Do:
Carry out work as allocated by the Service Delivery Leader within set timescales and to the recognised standards
Operate (drive) rail vehicles as required, within depot operating limits, and in accordance with all relevant operating procedures
Ensure that safety procedures and documents are adhered to in accordance with VMI & local instruction
Ensure that work sheets are signed off promptly and correctly on completion of work Ensure that the appropriate Quality and Environmental procedures and work instructions are adhered to Attend technical, quality, safety and general briefings ensuring that the necessary action is taken on items raised

What You Bring:
Qualifications – minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Engineering Experience – involvement and understanding of rail vehicle maintenance activities
Knowledge – good understanding of depot operations with the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Engineering – strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
