Job Role:
As a Press Brake Setter you will be responsible for manufacturing fabricated metal parts and assemblies using a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. The Press Brake Setter will set and operate workshop machinery such as a press brakes to bend and form metal in line with engineering drawings, while also carrying out finishing processes including linishing, deburring, grinding, and polishing to a high standard.
Essential Skills, Experience, or
Qualifications:
Proven experience working as a Press Brake Setter with sheet metal/thin gauge steel Strong background in metal bending and forming Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings Experience setting & operating a Press Brake machine Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications City & Guilds or NVQ in Sheet Metal work, Fabrication, or similar Welding experience (MIG or TIG) Experience fabricating steel components Previous experience in a similar Sheet Metal Worker environment Additional Information Permanent opportunity within a growing engineering business Stable working hours with early finish on Fridays Ideal role for an experienced Press Brake Setter or Fabricator looking for long-term stability Commutable From:
