Distribution Account Manager

Your RoleWe are looking for a driven and commercially minded Distribution Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with our distribution partners. This role is key to driving revenue, improving partner performance, and expanding our market presence through effective account management and strategic collaboration.
You will act as the main point of contact for assigned distributors, ensuring strong engagement, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering against sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop relationships with existing distribution partners
- Identify new revenue opportunities within the distribution network
- deliver agreed sales targets, KPIs, and growth plans
- Processing of quotes and orders aligned with our internal policies
- Quality focused approach - Right first time
- Expediting and problem solving
- Create and execute joint business plans with key partners
- Monitor sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline activity
- Support distributors with product training, promotions, and go-to-market initiatives
- Resolve commercial or operational issues to maintain strong partnerships
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Finance
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular performance reporting
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or distribution management
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Experience working with distributors, resellers, or channel partners (preferred)
- Ability to build long-term relationships at all levels
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts
- Confident using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
