Independent Sexual Violence Advisor

RASASC Cheshire & Merseyside is looking for a passionate, skilled and committed Family ISVA to join our team supporting children, young people and families impacted by sexual violence.

This is a vital frontline role providing specialist support, advocacy and crisis management to survivors and their families. We’re seeking someone who:

• Has a strong understanding of the impact of sexual violence
• Has experience working with trauma, vulnerable children, young people and families
• Can confidently assess and respond to risk and need
• Has excellent listening, communication and report writing skills
• Is organised, proactive and able to manage a complex caseload
• Understands safeguarding, equal opportunities and professional boundaries
• Is IT confident and able to manage case records accurately
• Holds a full driving licence and has access to a car

Desirable experience includes working with survivors of sexual violence, knowledge of the Criminal Justice System, ISVA qualifications and relevant degree-level education.
