HGV Class 1 (Cat C&E) Shunter Night Driver – Crewe Depot

£18.32 per hour, with an overtime rate of £27.48 after full‑time hours are completed.

Full‑time colleagues enjoy a minimum of 32 days’ annual leave (including Bank Holidays) and a 3% pension contribution. Additional flexible benefits such as shopping vouchers, insurance and healthcare are also available.

• Drive longer routes in waves, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of parcels from the depot to clients and other sites within the network.

• Collect and deliver parcels safely, complete required paperwork and assist depot staff with heavier items when needed.

• Perform tail‑lifting duties and manage loading/unloading of your vehicle.

• Work a 40‑hour week, scheduled in any 5 shifts out of 7 with rosters provided in advance.

• Full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 (Cat C
  
  E) entitlement, driver’s CPC and digital tachograph.
• Newly‑qualified drivers are welcome, provided they can undertake a short driving assessment.
