Overview
HGV Drivers are required by Pertemps Crewe for a client based in Crewe, with immediate starts available on an ongoing temporary basis. This full-time or part-time position involves driving a double‑decker boxed vehicle to deliver chilled goods across a maximum of five drops, with shifts lasting between 12 and 15 hours. No handball is involved, and occasional nights out attract a £25 allowance.
Responsibilities- Drive a double‑decker boxed vehicle
- Deliver chilled goods
- Perform duties within 12‑15 hour shifts
- Operate without handball
- Maximum of five drops per route
- Occasional night out with a £25 allowance
- CE licence with at least one year of experience
- Full UK driving licence with no more than six points
- Valid Digi card
- Valid CPC card
24/7 operation – AM & PM shifts available. Day, night, night‑out, and weekend shifts available with block bookings.
- Days: £22.38 per hour
- Nights: £24.77 per hour
- Saturday: £25.03 per hour
- Sunday: £27.55 per hour
