Temp to Perm - Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, weekly shift rotation of 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm.
We are looking for individuals who can commit to work 3-5 shifts per week and is available on any day. Full-time opportunities are available
About the role?
Working under the supervision and co-ordination of the Site Manager and Team Leader, you will be required to perform various inspection checks on newly manufactured vehicles, completing a full Pre-Delivery Inspection, including compound handling, to prepare them for dealerships.
Key responsibilities of the Role:
- To carry out safe vehicle movements in a multifaceted compound setting.
- To comply with the correct parking procedures and site speed limits.
- To conduct pre-delivery Inspections in accordance with company quality standards.
- To preform appropriate safety testing of vehicle settings.
- To support with vehicle fuelling
- To support with valeting vehicles internally and externally.
- To complete documentation of all inspection paperwork and report any discrepancies to the compound team leader.
- To ensure health & safety procedures are adhered at all times.
- Undertake other duties as directed commensurate with the level of the job function.
About you?
- To be successful, you must be over 25 years old, possess a valid driver s license with fewer than 6 penalty points, and have no DR10 offenses for insurance purposes.
- To succeed in this role, candidates must be able to work the specified shift times above.
- To succeed in this role, you will need to pass an onsite drivers assessment and a pre-employment drug & alcohol test prior to starting.
- The ideal candidate will be confident in their driving and have experience with automatic and manual vehicles.
- The ideal candidate will have a level headed approach. This is required when driving vehicles to ensure the safety of yourself & your colleagues.
- The ideal candidate will have basic understanding of health and safety and cooperate with managers to comply with Health & Safety regulations.
