Role OverviewAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Civil or Structural Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team.
Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will be involved in the design, analysis, and delivery of projects from concept through to construction, gaining exposure across multiple sectors and project types.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake civil and structural design and analysis
- Produce engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation
- Review and coordinate drawings and project information
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders
- Ensure designs comply with Eurocodes, UK standards, and project requirements
- Support junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement
- BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline)
- Minimum 2 years’ post‑graduate experience in a design role
- Experience designing with reinforced concrete and steel
- Strong understanding of Eurocodes and UK design standards
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team - Competent in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Tekla, and other industry standard software
- Familiarity with BIM processes and design software
- Exposure to sectors such as industrial, commercial, infrastructure, or renewables
- Full UK driving licence
- Working towards Chartered Engineer status
- Salary up to £55,000 (DoE)
