Located in the beautiful town of Crieff, Scotland, Oakbank Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built luxury care home offering personalised Residential, Dementia, Nursing, Palliative, and Respite care for up to 70 residents.
We are looking for a meticulous Housekeeper to ensure our care home remains hygienic, safe, and welcoming, while also managing laundry services. You will be a valued member of a supportive team, where your attention to detail and dedication make a real difference.
What We Offer- £12.21 per hour
- Contracted to 35 hours per week (Over 5 days – including weekends)
- Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full‑time contract)
Provide thorough domestic cleaning throughout the care home, adhering to company policies and best practices. Implement hygienic work practices to maintain a safe and sanitary environment, including cleaning and protecting various floor surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and sanitary fittings. Manage waste disposal and clean vertical surfaces safely without using access equipment. Support residents’ daily wellbeing and help them adapt to their environment.
Efficiently manage laundry services, ensuring residents’ personal belongings are safely handled and correctly labelled. Adhere strictly to health and safety, infection prevention, and fire safety protocols, following safe operating systems at all times. Collaborate with other staff to maintain cleanliness and effective laundry services.
