Job Title: Cleaner

Location: Strathearn Community Campus, Pittenzie Road, Crieff, Perth and Kinross, Scotland, PH73JN

Contract: Permanent

Type of Employment: Part Time

Hours: 20 hours per week

Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 4 pm to 8 pm

• Undertake all required training to deliver the cleaning role.
• Work within a team and independently as needed.
• Adhere to Mitie Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness, meeting contract SLAs and carrying out all daily, weekly and periodic tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.
• Ensure the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard.
• Keep all equipment clean, well maintained and safe to use.
• Report any maintenance requirements identified during cleaning tasks.
• Maintain security by locking doors and following lost‑property procedures.
• Have full knowledge of the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work specification and time allocations.
• Have comprehensive working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used by MITIE.
• Set a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality and attendance.
• Ensure all safeguarding policies are adhered to and raise any concerns in line with the Mitie policy.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ensure contractors and external visitors comply with security and health and safety on school premises.
• Build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
• Undertake any other related duties within the job holder's capability, according to business needs.

• Cleaning experience preferred; training can be provided.
