Retail Assistant

Retail store assistant (with keyholder responsibility) works at Cancer Research UK's Crieff shop. Salary is £12.71 per hour plus benefits. Reports to the Shop Manager. Fixed‑term contract until 26 September 2026. Working hours are 5 – Sundays only. The role involves managing shop operations on Sundays.

• Oversee daily shop operations on Sundays, including keyholder duties.
• Support a diverse team of volunteers and assist the wider shop team in achieving sales and fundraising targets.
• Review and process donated goods and new stock.
• Develop creative ideas to generate new income, guided by the Shop Manager.
• Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring customers and supporters feel welcomed.
• Maintain shop standards regarding safeguarding, compliance and health and safety.
• Perform manual handling and other physical duties as needed.
