Job Summary

Responsible for overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Make repairs and adjustments to machinery and assist in dismantling all or parts of machinery to repair or replace defective components

Operate shop tools, equipment, and as many machines related to maintenance as skill level will permit

Perform repairs to power industrial equipment and assist in rebuilding related equipment

Assist in the installation of new plant equipment

Maintain production equipment in good operating condition while optimizing uptime to ensure safe and timely manufacturing of quality coatings

Improve reliability and efficiency of plant equipment

Perform maintenance on programmable logic controller-based equipment

Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machines and equipment

Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings

Conduct preventive maintenance in a timely, efficient, and safe manner

Support site housekeeping and safety programs to maintain a clean and safe workplace

Participate in completing other related tasks as directed or needed

Job Requirements

At least three years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or distribution
Strong electrical background, familiar with PLCs and 480V motors
Experience with preventive maintenance and repairs to conveyor systems
Basic hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
Effective communication skills
Ability to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation

Compensation

$25-$35 based on experience
