About the Role
Join the dedicated team at Levindale Hospital’s High Intensity Care Unit (HICU), where you’ll provide skilled, compassionate care to adult patients with complex medical needs. Our patients include those requiring ventilator or pulmonary support, cardiac monitoring, and recovery from acute brain injuries. As an LPN, you’ll play a vital role in helping patients achieve their best outcomes in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress
• Communicate effectively with RNs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Support patients and families through education and emotional care
Qualifications
• Active Maryland or Compact State LPN license
• Current BLS (AHA required)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
