Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) of Crofton, MD is hiring a Dispensary Supervisor to assist with day‑to‑day operations of the dispensary and support the management team. The role ensures best‑in‑class customer service, compliance with regulations, and team motivation.

The Dispensary Supervisor is responsible for maintaining customer service excellence while ensuring compliance to all applicable regulations and company standards. This position sets the standard for performance and keeps associates motivated. The role requires excellent leadership qualities and a deep understanding of dispensary inventory and products.

• Provide best‑in‑class customer service to customers.
• Follow and uphold established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of all products and strains in the store and share that knowledge with the team.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of product, and communicating inventory action items with the Assistant Manager and General Manager.
• Assist all Dispensary Associates in the consultation of all customers to ensure product choices meet customer needs.
• Complete and appropriately delegate tasks assigned during scheduled shift, including:
  • Correct cash handling
  • Accurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system
  • Accurate and timely data entry in the POS and inventory tracking systems
  • Assistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
  • Ensure adherence with security measures and safety compliance
  • Maintenance of an organized and clean store
  • Management of visitor log
  • End‑of‑day daily update emails
  • Ensure accuracy with the vault
• Work with the Management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly and in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain daily activities, data collection, and address reported issues or complaints.
• Open and close procedures.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff in partnership with the management team.

• Cannabis experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Strong retail math skills required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting with POS operations.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic.
• Understanding of applicable state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, municipal codes, and company procedures.
• Must remain compliant with all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industry.
• Excellent organization and time‑management skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to internalize training and follow instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
