HTB Safeguarding Assistant

Role

Purpose:

The key purpose of this role is to provide high quality administrative support to the Group Safeguarding Lead and the wider HTB Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Dashboard (an app to measure and report compliance) for the 6 sites
  • Manage safer recruitment across the entities
  • Assist with safeguarding training
  • Assist with the management of concerns raised
  • Key part of the safeguarding working group (and note taker)
  • Assist with Focus preparations and act as part of the safeguarding team at the event
  • Assist with administrative support: maintain accurate and confidential safeguarding records in line with data protection requirements, assist in preparing reports, documentation, and compliance audits
  • Support the Safeguarding Lead in managing safeguarding concerns and referrals, liaising with internal teams and external agencies as directed
  • Ensure safeguarding policies are up to date and communicated effectively, assist with staff training coordination and safeguarding awareness campaigns
  • Track safeguarding incidents and produce regular reports for management, help monitor compliance with statutory and organizational safeguarding requirements
