Key Responsibilities

    .
  • Support and manage APQP, First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), and Net-Inspect processes.
  • Utilize Honeywell systems and customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and preventive measures to address manufacturing and supplier quality issues.
  • Develop, implement, and improve quality control plans, procedures, and inspection processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to resolve nonconformances and improve production efficiency.
  • Manage customer quality concerns, including RMRA submissions, follow-up, and closure.
  • Conduct quality audits, inspections, and testing of raw materials and finished products.
  • Support CMM programming and dimensional inspection processes
    .
  • Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, minimize defects, improve productivity, and strengthen overall quality performance.
  • Mentor and support quality inspectors and manufacturing personnel on quality standards and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation, reporting, and compliance records.
What We're Looking For

Ideal candidates will bring:

  • Proven Quality Engineering experience within aerospace, precision machining, or manufacturing
    .
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100 quality management systems
    .
  • Experience with APQP, FAIRs, and Net-Inspect
    .
  • Familiarity with Honeywell quality systems and customer requirements.
  • Experience with CMM programming and precision measurement techniques
    .
  • Demonstrated success conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, engineering teams, and production personnel.
  • Experience using ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and quality reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems independently.

Education: A bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred. However, candidates with extensive, relevant Quality Engineering experience in aerospace or manufacturing will be strongly considered.

Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Competitive compensation: $100,000–$110,000 annually.

  • Meaningful impact: Play an important role in improving manufacturing quality, performance, and efficiency.
