Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Cromwell, CT. This role requires sharp observation skills as you monitor a series of screens, detecting threats before they escalte in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and more.

• Set schedule:
  • Part Time:
    Friday & Saturday 10pm to 6am
• Competitive hourly wage of $18.48 / hour (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Successful completion of an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience – even better
• State license if required
