Weekend Work

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:30‑3:30 pm – 3 weekends a month, with the ability to pick up additional shifts. Weekend differential pay applies.

As a Partner in Wellbeing, the Adult Services Rehabilitation Worker, under the direction of the Mental Health Professional, has direct contact with clients and is responsible for delivering specific psychiatric rehabilitative services to clients. Services are primarily delivered in clients’ homes and/or the community and may focus on the individual, the individual’s support team, and/or in groups.

• Assist clients in developing a treatment plan consistent with their recovery goals.
• Assist clients, as needed, in successfully completing activities that support structured daily living.
• Coordinate with collaborative providers (e.g., county social services) to provide individualized client services and participate regularly in joint treatment planning with outside providers to work towards the recovery goals of each client.
• Assess for client safety in the community and develop a plan with the client, client’s team, and your supervisor to maintain safety and/or provide necessary referrals.
• Assist clients in anticipating their housing needs, locating safe, affordable housing, accessing and applying for housing assistance, and maintaining housing once obtained.
• Assist clients in accessing appropriate community services, applying for public assistance programs, and following through with necessary appointments and paperwork for these services.

• 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in a non‑English language or competent in the culture of the ethnic group to which at least 20% of the client base belongs.
• Associate of Arts degree OR
  • Two years of full‑time postsecondary education OR a total of 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related fields.
• Registered nurse OR
• Within the previous 10 years, three years of personal life experience with mental illness.
• Within the previous 10 years, three years of life experience as a primary caregiver to an adult with a mental illness, traumatic brain injury, substance use disorder, or developmental disability.
• Within the previous 10 years, 2,000 hours of work experience providing health and human services to individuals.
• Access to a personal vehicle and willingness to use it for job responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable under the agency’s automobile insurance policy.
• Free from substance use problems for a minimum of two years.
