The
** Assistant Chemist
** uses analytical skills in performing specialized lab tests at our factory.
** Principle accountabilities include but are not limited to:
*** In the absence of the other lab personnel, including the Factory Chemist, this position ensures required lab tests are performed and results recorded.  May perform tests and record results.
* Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the lab and maintain all laboratory records.
* Prepares and standardizes solutions.
* Responsibility for sugar and by-product analysis.
* Performs routine lab maintenance, including troubleshooting and basic repair and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.

* Job Requirements:

*** High School Diploma or GED certificate is required.
* 4 Year College Degree in Chemistry, Biology or related science, to include two years of chemistry.
* Valid Driver’s License
* Must be able to reference, read and understand how to use MSDS information.
