Position Summary:

As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, guiding them through the vehicle selection and purchase process. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, driven by results, and committed to providing an outstanding customer experience without the high-pressure tactics often found in larger dealerships.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement & Relationship Building
    • Greet customers warmly and professionally, both in person and over the phone/online.
    • Actively listen to customers' needs and preferences to understand their vehicle requirements.
    • Build rapport and establish trust with potential buyers.
    • Maintain follow-up with existing customers and prospects to ensure satisfaction and generate repeat business/referrals.
  • Vehicle Knowledge & Presentation
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Blue Bird Motors' inventory, including features, benefits, and specifications of various makes and models.
    • Conduct thorough vehicle walk-arounds and demonstrations, highlighting key selling points.
    • Accurately answer customer questions regarding vehicles, pricing, financing, and dealership policies.
  • Sales Process Management
    • Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery.
    • Assist customers with test drives, ensuring a safe and informative experience.
    • Present financing options and work closely with sales management to finalize deals.
    • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
    • Involve Sales Management to assist in all pricing negotiations and to close deals as needed.
  • Lead Management & Follow-Up
    • Respond promptly to all sales leads (phone, internet, walk-ins).
    • Leverage social media (primarily Facebook Marketplace) to generate leads by posting inventory and positive content about Blue Bird Motors.
    • Call/contact a minimum of 10 new prospects per day from dealership leads or individual lead generation.
    • Utilize CRM software to track customer interactions and manage follow-up activities.
    • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities whenever not actively engaged with clients.
  • Team Collaboration & Professionalism
    • Work collaboratively with other sales associates, managers, and the service department.
    • Adhere to all dealership policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
    • Continuously seek to improve sales skills and product knowledge through training and self-study.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
