Diesel Mechanic – Full-Time
Express Employment is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to service and repair diesel engines, heavy‑duty vehicles, and shop equipment, as well as dismantle salvage components for resale.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Service hydraulic, fuel, and exhaust after‑treatment systems
- Dismantle salvage vehicles and prepare parts for resale
- Operate shop equipment and perform light welding/fabrication
- 2 years diesel mechanic experience (medium/heavy truck or equipment preferred)
- High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred
- ASE certifications a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid driver’s license
- Dependability, attention to detail, and safety
- Problem‑solving and adaptability
- Teamwork and clear communication
